Bring it on 2021!

I just want to take a moment to wish everyone a happy, joyous, peaceful, and prosperous New Year and maybe encourage someone who is reading this. As I did my year-end reflecting, I realized that despite it being one of the most difficult years I've faced -- ever -- I made it! And you made it too!!

I'm so grateful to be able to say that. There have been so many tragedies and losses. And I'll admit that sometimes, I really did want to stick my hand in the sand (well, mud here in Louisiana) and throw in the towel. Days upon days of bad news and sad news. Around October, I was asking myself, "How am I going to deal with this? Pressure is coming at me from all directions." And you know what? It was too much for ME to deal with, so I'm letting God handle it. He has been sustaining me through some pretty tough hardships and challenges. Things are not perfect and they never will be. But He has blessed me time and time again. He has kept my family. I was able to start this new business, Faith Flow Designs. I even learned how to bake bread!! I could go on and on because there are just so many things for which I am immensely grateful.

All it takes is a little time to think about what we DO still have and the load begins to feel a bit lighter. For every negative thought, replace it with two things you are thankful for. For every worry and every fear and every doubt, keep telling yourself, "God is bigger than this!" Say it over and over until you really and truly believe it!!!

We still have breath in our bodies, so that means that we must keep moving forward into brighter and better days. There's a song that says, "I must go on and endure through the good times and the bad." Are you with me? I'm excited to see what's on the horizon for you and me this year. Please feel free to comment below. We are never the "only person" going through a situation.

Be GREAT Today and Flow In Faith!

Miss G
